Different lock models can use different directions. If your school gives different instructions, follow your school’s lock directions.

The numbers are only an example. Pay attention to the direction and when you pass a number before stopping.
Clear the lock, then find the first number
Turn right several complete times. After the lock is cleared, keep turning right and stop on the first number.
Turn right 3 full turns, then stop on 12.

Pass the first number once, then stop on the second number.
